    To the rear of the building is a large lawn garden with picnic benches a decking seating area and smoking shelter with TV. (Entrance to garden through the bar only)

    A permanent floodlit Boules court so in use in the glorious summer and the darker evenings of autumn/winter, this is bookable at any time just call.


    BBQ: area available for private use and open on our event dates.


    And there at the very rear of the garden a large wooden fort for the kids to lark about in with your watchful eye close by.

    When days get longer and warmer the PoW offers a family and dog friendly outside area with lots space for all to come together and enjoy the british summertime. There is also a fantatsic Fort for the younger memebers of the family.

    The Bar

    The bar has been updated and refurbished recently so we do have a date for that!


    The hosts today are Webb’s (the worker) and Beau (the raconteur) for the elders amongst you they are both from the Racks (Bristol) institutional fun heydays with Beau being in the thick of it 1985/2005. 


    The air remains on relaxed mode for all families, kids and dogs (preferred on leads) it’s a pub after all.

    Live Music

    On the 5th May during PoW Charity Sunday celerabation there will be live music, so why not come along and enjoy the Charity Sunday and help support one our finest local charities.

    Boules (Summer Competition)

    Think of trying something diffent hows about a game of Boules after work or any fine day just pop in and ask.

    If you'd like to enter the summer competiton run 'squash league style' please email in singles and pairs to start in May.
